Up a LevelBespoke Database Solution
With no current system in use, On-Site Kitchen Rentals Ltd asked Bozz Software for a bespoke database solution that could grow over time to match their needs.
They started with a basic Quotations and Invoicing solution, which made putting together complicated proposals a breeze and presented the customer with an initial professional image.
The database system has grown over time to include service contracts, stock control, statement of accounts, direct marketing, delivery / collection notes, action logs, task assignments and basic accounting.
Perhaps one of the most valuable tools at their disposal though is reporting. Bozz Software have created a number of ad-hoc reports including one which allows them to keep track of progress with ongoing quotations. Knowing who has said what to whom and when is exceptionally useful in an organisation where several staff may be dealing with one potential client.
Recognising the importance of a usable interface to ensure proper staff take-up, On-Site opted on a number of occasions to choose a simpler solution first of all and then upgrade it later.
This allowed their staff to acclimatise to new features easily and then provide feedback as to what was needed to enhance it.
